2004 Family Reserve (Sparkling )

$60.00 (RRP)750 ml
Stock Left: 4  Maximum Order: 1 Bottles

A bottle fermented sparkling wine made from 67% Pinot Noir and 33% Chardonnay; this is the first release of the family’s reserve wine after a yeast lees contact period of 3 years.

Colour.  Still quite pale though there is some development of colour after its lengthy yeast contact.

Nose.  First impact is of fresh but complex melon fruit that is underpinned by a very light autolysis character that helps to lift the wines aromas.

Palate.   The wine though still very youthful, which is a reflection of the age of the vineyard, still delivers enormous amounts of flavour. The crispness of the acidity in partnership with the natural effervescence of the style both contribute to elevate the fruit flavours and the autolytic flavours to produce a delicate but complex mouthful. Wonderfully refreshing when slightly chilled it is truly a style for all occasions.

Shopping FAQ

Freight charges for less than 12 bottles of wine

Sometimes you just want to buy a smaller quantity of wine, rather than having to purchase a case of 12 bottles; even when mixing a case is an option.

We are OK with this, however the cost of freighting small quantities prohibits us from doing so.

If you are relaxed about paying for the freight for your smaller order, we are happy to pick, pack, and dispatch your wines for you.

We thank you for your understanding.

Freight charges for orders of 12 bottles

As above, we find that freight for "non-case lots" is an issue and prevents us from delivering the service we want to.

To overcome this we require wine to be purchased in multiples of 12 bottles.

Therefore you will need to either reduce or increase the numbers of bottles in your order to equal even dozens. i.e. 12, 24 36 etc...
